The Active IceTM Therapy System is great for post-surgery, when serious pain relief is required. The system uses a motorized pump to circulate cold water from a cooler to the desired body area, delivering localized cold therapy to the patient either at home or during his or her hospital stay. Benefits of our system: - The universal bladder can be used on any part of your body that needs cooling therapy.
- Easy to use time and time again, and over an extended period of time.
- The unit will operate from floor level for many hours and is easy to recharge - you only need to add ice and water to the cooler!
- The cooler lid on our unit is hinged and snaps in place, keeping it tight and properly sealed.
Includes your choice of a reusable, universal therapy bladder that can be held on the body in many different ways:- Universal U-Shaped Bladder (UB) is ideal for knees, shoulder, back, ankles, elbows, calves and limbs.(10.5"x 12")
- Universal Rectangular Bladder (RB) is ideal for full coverage of the back and is held to the body with the included elastic straps. (12.5" x 22.5")
- We now offer a "Foot-Shaped" Bladder (FB) - ideal for foot surgery! It fits like a sock with full circulating water coverage of the foot. (This bladder choice is an additional $20)
- You may also choose to order more than one!
The Universal U-Shaped Bladder can be used with the included belts, and is also compatible with our optional compression wraps. This allows you to choose the method that is best for your situation:- Belts. The standard option includes two hook and loop tab belts, which allow the bladder to be positioned on any targeted body area: one (1) 3" x 44" blue belt and one (1) 3" x 10" black belt
- Wraps. Optional compression wraps are available which help insulate the target area, control condensation, and hold the bladder comfortably in place on the body. The U-Shaped Universal Bladder conveniently attaches to the wrap with hook and loop tabs. Options include:
- Knee Compression Wrap (KAW)
 - Lumbar Compression Wrap (LAW)
 - Shoulder Compression Wrap (SAW)
Please note: The compression wraps are an additional purchase and are not included with the system. The Rectangular Bladder cannot be used with these compression wraps.

Additional options available to meet your individual therapy needs:
- An optional rechargeable battery pack is available to allow soothing and convenient cold therapy, wherever you are!
- Traveling? Auto Power Adapter allows the unit to operate in any 12-volt DC standard auto 'cigarette lighter' outlet.
- Auto-drain accessory allows most of the water to be pumped from the cooler to a sink drain without lifting the cooler.

- The Active IceTM System can be cold enough to seriously injure the skin.
- Consult your health care practitioner prior to use. Provide a complete medical history, specifically any reactions to cold.
- Certain medical conditions may be more susceptible to cold-related injuries. Ask your practitioner about any potential adverse reactions. Caution: Use of cold therapy by children, diabetics, incapacitated patients, and those with poor circulation or special skin conditions should be carefully supervised by a medical professional.
- Use only as prescribed by your licensed health care practitioner and follow all of his or her instructions regarding the frequency and duration of cold therapy, proper temperature, how and when to check the skin, and total length of treatment.
